The IF-5640 Upholstered Platform Bed (manufactured and supplied across Canada by IFDC) is a transitional, full-platform bed frame. It is widely recognized for its elegant, deeply tufted silhouette and its unique inclusion of customizable metal hardware, allowing you to match the bed’s feet to your existing bedroom decor.
Key Design & Structural Features
- Deep Button Tufting: The primary visual focal point is a thick, plushly padded headboard styled with classic diamond-patterned deep button tufting. This provides a heavy, textural look and uniform cushioning for sitting upright in bed.
- Plush Velvet Fabric: The framework is fully upholstered in a soft, premium velvet. While Grey Velvet is the core signature colorway, sister models in the collection include Creme Velvet (IF-5642) and Black Velvet (IF-5643).
- Interchangeable Legs (Gold & Chrome): Every bed ships standard with two complete sets of metal legs—one finished in polished chrome and one in rich gold. This allows you to choose your accent color during assembly or swap them out later.
