The King Koil Busto mattress is a Canadian-made, mid-range hybrid mattress designed to offer upgraded support features at a value price point. Unlike the budget-friendly Andrew model, which uses a continuous coil system, the Busto utilizes individually wrapped pocket coils for better motion isolation and contouring. It is an upgrade from entry-level spring mattresses, focusing on “zonal” support to help with spinal alignment.
Construction Breakdown
- 3-Zone Pocket Coil System: The core features 868 individually wrapped coils (in Queen size) divided into three zones. The middle third is reinforced to provide extra support for the hips and lower back, where most body weight is concentrated.
- AdvantaGel™ Infused Foam: A cooling gel-infused foam layer is integrated into the top to help dissipate body heat and provide a more temperature-neutral sleep surface.
- Tri-Gel Memory Foam: A specialized memory foam layer that offers pressure relief by contouring to the body’s curves, specifically aiming to reduce tossing and turning.
- ExcellentEdge™ Foam Encasement: The perimeter is reinforced with high-density foam, which creates a sturdy edge for sitting and prevents the “roll-off” feeling when sleeping near the side of the bed.
- Posture BIO Foam™: Uses eco-friendly, soy-based foam components to reduce the environmental footprint while maintaining durability.
